Joppa Reached a Huge Milestone This Week: 700 Consecutive Weeks of Outreach & Service

Since our founding in September 2008, Joppa has helped more than 450 homeless individuals get off the streets — over 80% of whom remain in housing today.⁠ ⁠We serve hundreds of people weekly with outreach, aftercare, meals, mail deliveries, and other resources. No gaps, no skipped weeks.⁠ ⁠

And just last month, we officially opened our Homeless Resource Center to continue expanding our services.⁠ Even in the wake of the pandemic and a significant increase in homelessness, Joppa has been able to provide uninterrupted homeless services.⁠
