All unsold items are given to people in need—through Joppa, another nonprofit organization, or distributed overseas.

Donations Accepted

To ensure that our Thriftmart customers receive quality finds every time, Joppa can only accept high-quality new and gently used items.

Therefore, the Donation Center may refuse items at the door and CAN NOT accept:

1. Items that are low-quality, broken, stained, ripped, or in poor condition
   
2. Anything that needs repair or cleaning or is covered in pet hair
3. Things that smell unpleasant – smoke, mildew, or pets

Please ring the doorbell, and we will be out in 120 seconds. Tax-deductible receipts are available upon request.
