1) Homeless Services Manager (Full-Time)
Help lead one of Iowa’s most comprehensive homeless services ministries.
This position provides leadership for Joppa’s continuum of homeless services, including Outreach, Aftercare, Circle of Friends, the Homeless Resource Center, Client Advocacy and other programs.
We’re seeking an experienced leader who develops people, strengthens systems, builds partnerships and balances compassion with accountability. As Joppa continues to grow, this role offers significant opportunity for expanded leadership responsibility.

2) Joppa Village Manager (Full-Time)
Leadership experience in nonprofit, ministry, human services or community organizations
Experience leading teams and developing people
Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving abilities
Lead one of Iowa’s most innovative permanent supportive housing communities.
The Joppa Village Manager provides day-to-day leadership for Joppa Village, stewarding its operations, safety, appearance, maintenance, partnerships and community life. Success is measured not simply by well-managed property, but by helping formerly homeless Neighbors remain successfully housed and flourish.
We’re looking for a relational, organized and operationally strong leader who combines accountability with compassion and believes beautiful, well-managed communities communicate dignity.

3) Executive Assistant (Part-time, possibly full time)
This role manages communications, schedules and administers workflows. Requires exceptional judgment, discretion and relational intelligence, as it often serves as a first point of contact for staff, board members, donors, partners and community leaders.

4) Thriftmart Pricing Specialist – Clothing (Part-time)
Help turn donated clothing into life-changing impact
Every item donated to Thriftmart helps support Joppa’s mission of helping people survive, find housing and rebuild their lives. Behind every successful thrift store is a team that understands how to price merchandise accurately, efficiently and competitively.
We’re looking for an experienced clothing pricing specialist who can work independently, maintain a fast pace and consistently make sound pricing decisions. This is not an entry-level retail position. Prior thrift-store pricing experience is strongly preferred, and candidates should already possess excellent knowledge of clothing brands, quality and resale value.
