Joppa Kids is a program for K-12 students that provides opportunities to learn about homelessness and do something to help homeless people.
The program builds awareness of homelessness and how to prevent it via age-appropriate reading materials, events and projects.
Learn about the root causes of homelessness to build understanding and help prevent homelessness in future generations. This begins with education and discussion. Here are some book suggestions to get started:
Do something to help the homeless though volunteer opportunities and service-learning projects. You can make a difference, earn service hours and meet new friends!
